What if your own mind became your greatest enemy?

A multi-award-winning short film from writer-director Charlotte Verminck — a 23-minute psychological journey through self-doubt, transformation, and the silent battles we rarely speak about.

The Film

THE STORY

Elle Davis, a rising artist on the verge of her breakthrough, is also on the brink of self-destruction. Beneath her creative gift lurks a relentless inner voice — one that twists every thought into torment.

When an opportunity at an elite art school arises, Elle sees it as her chance to silence the chaos. But under the gaze of the enigmatic Ms. Margret, her deepest fears resurface, and her thoughts begin to manifest in ways she can no longer ignore.

Elle must take a leap of faith — one that will redefine not just her art, but her existence.

FROM THE FILMMAKER

"We process 70,000 thoughts a day. Eighty percent of them are negative. Mind of Thoughts is my way of giving shape to the invisible — turning intrusive thoughts into something visceral, tangible, and raw."

— CHARLOTTE VERMINCK

Attended by Te Gek?!, Belgium's leading mental health awareness organisation, with proceeds from the premiere supporting their work.

The conversation it opens does not stop when the lights come on.
